Lea learned sewing. In 1934 she joined the movement. In 1938 Lea moved to Budapest where she took part in the activities of the movement. After the German occupation of Hungary on 19.3.1944, Lea dealt with obtaining authentic documents for the offices of the Population Registry in Budapest. She tried to cross the border into Romania within the framework of the tiyul without success. She left Hungary with her brother, Haim, on the Relief and Rescue Committee train and at the end of 1944 she arrived in Switzerland. Lea made aliya in 1945 and joined Kibbutz Ein Dor.
